Loose watercolour washes look up through the taut diagonal cables of the Brooklyn Bridge at dusk. The stone tower stands solid at one side, its two gothic arches cleanly formed, while the sky bleeds from deep ultramarine at the top into soft apricot and pearl-pink near the horizon. Wet washes around the strands melt together, leaving the sky shimmering with luminous, half-dissolved colour.
