Marble Light Wall Art

Sunlight rakes across polished Tennessee marble in this classical realist oil painting of the Lincoln Memorial's colonnade. Careful light and deep perspective draw the eye down the long row of columns at midday, where warm highlights meet cool shadow and natural colour. A stately, contemplative piece for lovers of Washington DC and timeless architecture.
